How to choose durian?
Pinch the spikes.
To choose durian, you can pinch the spines. Among them, the durian shell with high maturity has two adjacent thorns, which can be connected with fingers, while the thorns on the shell of low maturity durian are hard and cannot be held by hand.
Look at the appearance.
When choosing a durian, look at the appearance. The durians with good maturity are larger in size, golden or transparent yellow in color, and have small cracks on the shell, while durians with low maturity are small in size and light in color.
Smell.
Durians can be picked by smell. Ripe and unbroken durians have a strong and unique aroma, unripe durians have a weaker aroma, and rotten durians have a strange smell in addition to their aroma.
If you have allergic symptoms after eating durian, such as rash, nausea, diarrhea and other symptoms, it is not recommended to eat durian.
The sugar content of durian is very high, and diabetic patients are more likely to have poor blood sugar control after eating durian.
