In 1978, Alan Gelfand invented a move that revolutionized skateboarding - "Ollie", which revolutionized skateboarding.


4. The 1980s


Beginning in the mid-1980s, the skateboard industry boomed in the United States, and it was possible to make a lot of money as a professional skateboarder. In the late 1980s, a few companies began to dominate the international skateboard market, when fashion was largely determined by shoes.
